I don't think of myself as an entrepreneur first and foremost. I may be but I have always tried to do things that interest me and that feel good (good = healthy&happy). Developing a set of healthy habits and living well has been my aim. Helping others to do the same along the way has been an added bonus.

CREATING HAPPINEss THROUGH

HEALTHY HABITS

CREATING A HEALTHy WELLNESS ROUTINE ANYONE CAN make their own

ANy great entrepreneur with tell you there is no balance in

 ENTREPRENEURSHIP

I've always been good with my hands and functional building has been a longtime love of mine. I enjoy leaving things better than I found them. I think I just enjoy seeing things accomplished - I get that from my Dad. Honestly, my renovation company was conceived in desperation. In July of 2017, I lost two very important men in my life. I was devastated. On a practical side I had a massive void to fill. I needed an outlet, a major distraction, something to pour my energy into, something physical that involved power tools would be amazing and something that also had me connecting with the neighbours and that utilized my mental capacity and creative side - FIX IT FERNWOOD was born. While my initial driving force was in place, I felt blessed to have checked off a number of boxes in its execution. The motivating factor for limiting the geographic location of my work has always been mono-focal. I had an older cat at the time and I wanted to spend more time with him as he aged - maintaining his wellness to the same level as my own. I don't know too many people that base their business around a pet, but it was the most natural thing for me to do and I have zero regrets.
